Dr. Daniel Becker
You are invited to attend a free one hour informational workshop on Spasticity (muscle stiffness) with Johns Hopkins Neurologist Dr. Daniel Becker. You will learn about the latest treatments available to people suffering from spasticity. Spasticity or muscle stiffness is commonly seen in conditions like stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, spinal cord injury, transverse myelitis (TM), and cerebral palsy (CP). The discussion will include treatments like botulinum toxin (Botox), intrathecal baclofen pumps, and typical medications such as baclofen, Zanaflex, and Dantrolene. You will have the opportunity to have your questions answered.
